Lexy joined the Downtown Norfolk Community Garden in July 2023 after relocating from Cincinnati, Ohio. Her love for gardening began in college, where she became involved in her local community garden and later worked as a sustainability coordinator during her summer breaks. She enjoys connecting with others who share her passion for gardening and has made many great friends through the garden's monthly potlucks and power hours. Recently, Lexy earned a master’s degree in sustainable design and now works as a fellow with the Department of Energy, supporting state and community energy programs. In her free time, she enjoys tending to her garden plot, biking through the Norfolk Botanical Garden, and relaxing at the beach.
