ADA Accessible Gardening Area

Gardening Made For Everyone

Our community is filled with a wide cross section of individuals with diverse capabilities and needs. To ensure our garden is accessible to those with limited mobility, we have partnered with the Rotary Club of Norfolk under the leadership of Jeff Wells to design one of the first fully accessible, ADA compliant gardens in the region. The project will include eight table top height raised beds, a dedicated water cistern, a permeable, compacted surface, and a ramp entrance from the parking lot. 

As a champion of accessibility, we are committed to meeting people where they are at to form a stronger community. We anticipate completing this project in summer 2024.
